United States President Obama exhibited the power of words during an appearance with Jay Leno. The commentary that was made with regards to the Special Olympics was clearly unscripted.
While jesting on The Tonight Show about his bowling skills (during his campaign trail he shamefully scored 37 in a game), President Obama said he’d been practicing at the White House.
He told Jay Leno that he bowled 129 in the White House bowling alley and said his bowling skills are “like Special Olympics or something.”
President Lum of the Special Olympics was quoted saying, what Obama said on The Tonight Show adds to the debate that’s required to promote knowingness and has proven “an incredibly important and seriously teachable moment.” From playgrounds to the “top rungs of our leadership, including our president,” he said Americans have plenty to talk about and learn when it comes to stereotypes and how words can trulysting.
Not only should Americans take this advice seriously , but the rest of the World should also beware. People make mistakes, and we can forgive Barack Obama.

Like so many other interviews, this interview by Raymond Aaron the ultimate goal setting coach leads us down the worthy path. Not only will the words we use strike the people around us but also ourselves. Yvonne teaches us how to use words to manifest what we desire in our business and personal lives.
True power can be found in words. We should pay greater care to the words we use in particular when we are talking to ourselves and our children. The old rhyme “sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me”, no longer applies. We now actualise that we can do eminent harm to people in general and our family, with the words we use.
